So from the fish caught right here in Bream Bay by local fisherman to the wine made just up the road in Keri Keri come to the Quay to enjoy a truly local world class experience.
Owners Lloyd Rooney and Mike Fraser have grown from a single restaurant, The Cove in Waipu Cove, and their beef and sheep farm, Highgate Hill in the Waikato to now include The Quay in Whangarei, The Dune in Mangawhai and Number 8 Whangarei. The farming venture also include our market garden, The Vege Shack, in Maungakaramea which we supply all our Northland restaurants with fresh seasonal produce.
The Great Highgate Trading Company Ltd was formed to manage the restaurant and farming ventures of Lloyd Rooney and Mike Fraser.
